Description:	Shirakawa is a hidden heaven located 2 hours northwest of Takayama. It's ogimachi Gassho style settlement is a world culture heritage in UNESCO, where people are living their quiet and peaceful lives. I would say the scenery here was the best we have seen during our trip, and also we had the best hospitality for our stay...really unforgettable.
