My name is Herman, another Chinese dude out there that prefers rice over pasta and loves Japanese anime, but there are things that set me apart.
I’m a classical music lover. I listen to Beethoven and Mozart and don’t know any of the American pops. I play piano in my home studio instead of following CSI when I have time to kill.
I’m a photography freak. I spend 30 minutes in the supermarket to pick a perfectly shaped, colored apple and 3 hours following getting home taking pictures of it (Check out some of my work at my Smugmug)
I study Japanese, a lot. I bought two Japanese dictionaries to read in hopes of memorizing most if not all of the contents. I enjoy watching Japanese TV programs and movies.
I sleep 3-5 hours a day, and wish there are 30 hours a day.
I’m cheap, and not cheap. I eat Mcdonald’s value meal ($3.xx) for dinner. I use a $9.99 electric shaver. I wear a hat out since blow-drying my hair wastes electricity. On the other end, I spent over $3000 in 2 months to get my digital SLR camera and lenses. I paid $1500 to fly to Hong Kong just to watch a concert of my favorite J-Rock band that is hosted there.
Enough BS, this site/blog is a collection of my daily life happenings, happiness, frustration, work, friends, buzz, opinions, dreams, Wendy (my girlfriend), and things that interest me. Feel free to drop me a message by clicking the chat button near the bottom of the site, or add me to your Facebook. Thanks for dropping by!
