New bike!

Dahon Jetstream P8 Folding BikeDahon Jetstream P8 Folding BikeLife is pretty much the same for the past week. Working out 3 times a week (injured my shoulder joint but it healed itself within 3 days), going biking everywhere, drinking protein shakes several times a day, hanging out with friends…etc. I finally got the Dahon Jetstream P8 yesterday! Super sturdy bike with some high-quality parts, and front+rear suspension. I didn’t cheap out on this bike so hopefully it’ll last.

Sweet Revenge PatisserieSweet Revenge PatisserieOne thing worth mentioning is the Sweet Revenge Patisserie where I went with Wendy couple nights ago. A really tiny and narrow place with great decor (80’s Chinese influences), and awesome desserts. We had a huge chocolate cake and a tiramisu, both were very yummy, but the drinks were just so so, not too bad though. Will go again to try the cheesecake, I think.

Working Out

GNC AMP Amplified Mass XXXMy days have been mostly riding on my bike and working out at my home gym. I ordered some resistance elastic tubings from eBay last month but it never got delivered and today I couldn’t wait any longer and got one from Canadian Tire. Tried it out for an hour and, it’s really amazing! I was able to improvise and “invent” a bunch of cool exercises with the band, it’s almost too good to be true. It’s easy to control the strength of the band just by either stepping on it to restrain its length or to tie it on the rack, very versatile and flexible. Also went to GNC to get a crazy “mass gainer” product called “AMP Amplified Mass XXX” as I’ve almost finished up my whey protein that I got from superstore (which kinda worked, but not much). The AMP stuff has good reviews on it and I’m looking forward to seeing the result. Although I will probably have to workout even harder due to the extra sugar and calories in the product..

Other than that, I’m doing research on the Yellowstone National Park where I may be going in September. The park seems to be super big and the RV sites (with hookups) are already full, not sure what the alternatives are, probably have to camp some days and then do lodges or so on the other days.
