Windows on a Mac
Spent the entire evening trying to install Bootcamp on my Macbook so I can run some Windows apps on it. It was pretty straight forward in face much easier than I thought. Bootcamp installs XP on a brand new partition so XP is basically standalone and does not intervene with OSX which sits on another partition. I got XP installed in famous “39 minutes” and it worked like a charm. Now can I easily switch between Windows XP and OSX just by holding the “Option” key during boot-up and select the OS. I’m going to install some apps on XP so when I go to Hong Kong next month I’ll be able to use some of those XP-only softwares.
